Rollins Scholars Class of 2024
The Rollins Scholars program in the Gary W. Rollins College of Business at UTC offers students the opportunity to become a high-impact leader and business student while making lasting connections with other business majors, UTC faculty, and Chattanooga-area business leaders. The program provides up to 20 outstanding incoming freshmen students with $4,000 annual scholarships for up to four consecutive years of study.

John Adkins, Marketing
John is from Portland, TN. In high school, he has enjoyed being involved in extracurricular activities such as Student Council, DECA, Renaissance Committee, and the Sumner County Student Leadership Council. Currently, John plans on majoring in marketing. He found his passion through his involvement in DECA. After completing an undergraduate degree, John plans to pursue a Master's in Business Administration. Within the Rollins Scholars program, he looks forward to connecting with his peers, working on team projects, networking with local Chattanooga business leaders, and developing professional business skills.

Kaelan Asch, Marketing
Kaelan is from Franklin, TN and plans to major in marketing. She is a graduate of Youth Leadership Franklin and was the treasurer for her high school French club. Kaelan is also a Gold Award Girl Scout. She has a passion for leading youth and shows this through her participation in activities such as Girl Scouts, Peer Leadership, and volunteering with Hillsboro United Methodist Church youth group. Kaelan's hobbies include piano, astronomy, writing, and spending time with her younger sisters. She has always had an interest in business due to her parents who are small business owners. She currently works for her parents in their business and helps them run their business social media accounts. In the future, she hopes to open up a business of her own.

Emaan Aziz, Finance
Emaan is from Memphis, TN and plans to major in finance while also exploring the world of international business. In high school, she was on the board of clubs such as Project St. Jude, Model UN, Honors Academy, and Film and Video Production. One of Emaan's career goals is to work for media based companies. She plans to pursue an MBA after graduation.

Cooper Batcheler, Finance
Cooper is from Murfreesboro, TN and plans to major in finance. He hopes to become a Chartered Financial Analyst and pursue a career with a Fortune 500 company. Cooper has worked in his family's business for the last 4 years while attending one of the top ranked high schools in Tennessee. In high school, he was active in Young Life, Key Club, and National Technical Honor Society. In his free time, Cooper enjoys fishing, spending time at the lake and building projects. Cooper believes that the Rollins Scholars program will develop his communication skills and provide opportunities for internships and future employment. He understands the importance of hard work and grit that is required to be successful in life.

Mary Bennett, Management/Spanish
Mary is from Centerville, TN and plans to major in business management with a minor in Spanish. She has served as her school's FBLA president, bookstore manager, Beta Club secretary, and yearbook editor-in-chief. Mary is also a Youth Leadership Hickman graduate and nursing home volunteer. Aside from those activities, she has spent the majority of her time working on her family's cattle farm. After graduating, she hopes to join the Peace Corps and utilize her degree by helping develop the economic and social infrastructure of underserved communities. She would then like to gain more experience by working in the non-profit industry and eventually would like to have her own non-profit, focusing on women's reproductive health and education in rural, poverty-stricken areas.

Mary Anne Dendrinos, Management
Mary Anne is from Knoxville, TN and plans to major in management. Her goal after graduation is to have the skill set to run a business smoothly. During high school, she worked on strengthening her communication and teamwork skills through leadership clubs such as FCCLA, NHS, and student government. Through the Rollins Scholars program, she is hoping to gain strong connections in the business community and learn what it means to be a successful business owner.

Zuriel Hampton-Coffin, Entrepreneurship
Zuriel is from Maryville, TN and plans to major in entrepreneurship. Some of his hobbies include wrestling, football, and working out. Zuriel was involved in the Blount County Youth Court, Knoxville National Achiever Society, and numerous other organizations while in high school. His goal for college is to learn how to start, run, and maintain a successful business in today's society. His career goal is to one day be the owner of multiple successful businesses.

Grace Hill, Accounting/Finance
Grace Hill is from Chattanooga, TN and plans to double major in accounting and finance. While in high school, she worked part-time, was involved in multiple clubs and theater as well as spring and fall sports. After graduation, she plans to pursue a Master's in Accountancy and working on earning her CPA. She hopes to work in the healthcare sector. Through the Rollins Scholars program, Grace is looking forward to meeting new people, building lasting connections, and enjoying her major.

Jackson Key, Accounting
Jackson is from Soddy Daisy, TN and plans to major in Accounting. Throughout his time in high school, he participated in Beta Club, National Honors Society, and Student Government. After graduation, Jackson plans to pursue a Master's of Accountancy and a CPA license. His hobbies and interests include being an active member of his church and playing baseball. Jackson's ultimate goal is to work for a three-letter agency as a Forensic Accountant.

Kaitlin Markos, Accounting
Kaitlin is from Murfreesboro, TN and plans to major in accounting. Throughout high school she was a part of multiple community service events, some of which include writing letters to local VAs and nursing homes, and participating in toy, food and book drives. She hopes the Rollins Scholars program will allow her to grow, learn and make connections with peers.

Reeve Mullinax, Accounting
Reeve is from Chattanooga, TN and plans to major in accounting. His career goals are to complete a Master's of Accountancy and become a CPA. Reeve has been involved in several sports with soccer as his favorite. He enjoys helping others through community service projects. Reeve believes the Rollins Scholars program will allow him to be involved on campus while preparing him for the future.

Jacob Neuman, Economics
Jacob is from Knoxville, TN and plans to major in economics. He graduated high school with high honors after taking many AP and honors courses. Jacob was the editor in chief of the school newspaper and participated in extracurricular activities including DECA and Student Government. He hopes to learn more about the business world and to prepare himself for success in the future.

Katie Tipton, Accounting
Katie is from Ooltewah, TN and plans to major in accounting. Her goals include passing the CPA exam and having a successful career in accounting in the public or private sector. She has always loved working with numbers. Katie enjoys all kinds of puzzles and escape room games. She looks forward to working with other Rollins Scholars and gaining business knowledge and experience.

Benjamin Walker, Accounting
Benjamin Walker is from Livingston, TN and plans to major in accounting. He likes to spend his free time being outdoors, doing activities like riding bikes, hiking, kayaking, and running. After graduation, Benjamin plans to pursue a Master's of Accountancy and a career in corporate accounting. He would like to invest in real estate to eventually build housing developments around Tennessee. He believes that the opportunities given through the Rollins Scholars program will allow him to complete these goals and help him be prepared for life after college.

Ella Williams, Management
Ella is from Franklin, TN and plans to major in management. Upon graduation, she plans to continue her education in dental school to eventually become an orthodontist. She is an avid learner having earned both AP Scholar and AP Scholar with Distinction awards. Throughout high school, Ella served in her community through her church, her school and a variety of organizations such as the Nashville Rescue Mission, The Path Project and the Ronald McDonald House.
