Day of Service, 9 AM – 1 PM, Lupton Hall First Floor, *Pre-Registration Required

Join us for UTC Homecoming Week: Day of Service, a spirited opportunity for students, alumni, and staff to give back to our community while celebrating our campus pride! This year we will be giving back to the UTC campus and community with a variety of different service projects both on and off campus. Click the registration link below and visit our MocSync event to learn how to sign up to volunteer as an individual or student organization for this Homecoming Week tradition! Spots will be limited and will be first come, first serve until all project shifts are filled! *All Volunteers will receive a 2024 Homecoming Shirt*

Banner Painting, 1 PM – 5 PM, Vine Street, *Pre-Registration Required

Registered UTC student organizations will have the opportunity to paint a provided banner showcasing their organization and school spirit aligned with the 2024 Homecoming Theme: Fairytale! This event will take place on Sunday, October 20, 2024, from 1 - 5 p.m. on Vine Street (Maclellan Gym if inclement weather). This is a competition, so come with your best SCRAPPY EVER AFTER ideas! Banners will be displayed outside the UC starting on Monday, October 21 – Friday, October 25. Banners will be limited so register now before all spots are filled!

Deadline to sign up your registered student organization is Friday, October 11 at 5 p.m. on MocSync.

Kickoff Pep Rally, 5:30 PM – 6 PM, Chamberlain Field

Kickoff UTC Homecoming Week: Scrappy Ever After! To mark the start of Homecoming 2024, we will have a pep rally joined by the UTC Spirit Squads, Mocs Athletics administration, as well as campus and community leaders! Join us for refreshments, school spirit, and the announcement the 2024 Homecoming Court representatives. We hope to see you there and the Block Party to follow.

Fairytale Plush & Sweets, 1 PM – 3 PM, Lupton 120

Create your own Scrappy Ever After with a fairytale themed stuffed animal and delicious cake balls inspired by princesses and villains. It’s the perfect afternoon to relax and connect with fellow students. Supplies will be limited and given out at a first come, first serve basis. Don’t miss out on this enchanting experience!

Mocs Mix and Mingle, 5 PM - 6:30 PM, Advancement House

Current students and alumni are invited to attend a mixer, where they can interact and build connections with Mocs. Alumni will hear from current students, and current students will meet area alumni to grow their networks.

In addition, Becky Spaulding of UTAA Career Services will provide information about ConnectUT, a platform where alumni and students can stay connected, find professional opportunities, and volunteer as mentors or mentees.

Lip Sync, 8PM – 10 PM, McKenzie Arena

Don’t miss UTC Lip Sync, the biggest campus tradition of Homecoming Week in McKenzie Arena! Come watch participating student organizations and student groups perform show-stopping, energetic, and creative Lip Sync routines with hopes of earning the top spot!

Doors Open – 7 p.m.

Event Start – 8 p.m.

Doors Close – 8:45 p.m. (No one will be permitted into the Arena after doors closes.

· This event is FREE to all enrolled UTC students, faculty, staff, and community members. UTC Students, Faculty, and staff can use their event pass by clicking HERE

· McKenzie Arena enforces a clear bag policy. All non-clear bags will not be permitted.

· Firearms, Tabacco products, Vapes, and E-cigarettes are not permitted.
