- Campus Tour

We will be giving you a full campus tour (walking time outside is around 1 hour). In early November the weather in Chattanooga can fluctuate from as high as 62 and low as 49. We recommend bringing layers as our campus tour is mostly outdoors. Should we face poor weather the tour may be shortened or cancelled for guest safety.
- Professional Pathway Excursions
-
At registration you will be able to select one of our 4 unique paths to explore more of what UTC can offer for students interested in these types of career opportunities.
- Pre-Health Track: designed for students interested in medical school, dental school, pharmacy school, veterinary school, and physician assistant programs. Students will tour lab spaces in chemistry and biology and hear from the Center for Professional Education’s Medical Career Academy about clinical experiences for UTC students. This experience is not designed for students interested in nursing.
- Pre-OT/PT: designed for students interested in occupational therapy or physical therapy. Students will hear from our PT and OT program, and tour spaces in psychology and anatomy and physiology. This experience is not designed for students interested in nursing.
- Engineering: Students will engage in experiences within the primary engineering areas, including chemical, electrical, mechanical, and civil engineering.
- Computer Science and Technology: Students will engage in experiences within computer engineering, computer programming, robotics, and mechatronics.
Due to lab capacity, we cannot accommodate changes in your excursion the day of the event. If you wish to change your excursion you must do so before October 23rd by emailing either [email protected] to for Pre-Health or [email protected] for engineering or computer science and technology. Every effort will be made to accommodate excursion swaps, however due to lab capacity limitations we may not be able to honor every request.
For the lab tours, we encourage students to wear closed toed shoes and no jewelry to ensure lab safety.
- Parent Excursions
-
Due to lab capacity limitations, parents or guardians will not be able to attend lab tours, however we have exciting programming planned for parents during this time. Parents will be able to enjoy coffee and tea while hearing from members of our financial aid staff who will review information on state and federal aid, UTC scholarships, and how you can help your student find more financial aid for their college career. Parents or guardians will also hear from career services representatives who will showcase resources UTC has to aid in the job search. At the conclusion of this offering parents/guardians will be reunited with students.
