Job Openings at UTC Library
Part Time Library Specialist: Public Services
The UTC Library seeks energetic, friendly, tech savvy and service-oriented candidates to fill several part time service desk positions throughout the Library. Preferred candidates will be familiar with library services, online research, productivity software, and both PC and Mac platforms. Prior experience troubleshooting printers, copiers, scanners, mobile devices and wireless connectivity is also preferred. These positions are part time, approximately 8 to 20 hours per week, and will include a mix of shifts at one or more of the Library's main service points, depending on availability and individual skill sets. Most hours are nights and weekends, with the exception of a Monday daytime shift.
For the full job description and to apply, see the UTC Employment page.
There are no faculty positions open at this time.
The majority of the student worker positions at the UTC Library are Federal Work Study (FWS) assignments administered through the Financial Aid Office. The library also hires a limited number of non-FWS students, usually at the beginning of the fall term, although we do sometimes have openings at other times during the year.
