The UTC Library seeks a motivated, creative, and user-focused professional for the position of tenure-track Instruction Librarian in the Library’s Instruction Department. This is a great opportunity for a professional interested in working in a busy mid-sized academic library focused on providing user-centered services in a dynamic, transparent, and flexible environment.
The UTC Library invites applications from motivated, creative, and user-focused professionals to fill our Studio Librarian position. The librarian in this position will plan, develop, and implement service initiatives to enhance the Studio as a learning environment and guide patrons in the use of Studio and library resources.
Studio Specialist (Evening)
The Studio Specialist will support high-end computing applications, multimedia production, and creative activities that serve the goal of supporting research and teaching at UTC. The Studio Specialist is responsible for optimizing the Studio experience for UTC students and faculty. This position works Sunday through Thursday 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm during the academic semester; schedule varies during intersessions and breaks.

The majority of the student worker positions at the UTC Library are Federal Work Study (FWS) assignments administered through the Financial Aid Office. The library also hires a limited number of non-FWS students, usually at the beginning of the fall term, although we do sometimes have openings at other times during the year.
