Lorilynn Baier holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration: Business Management from Bryan College in Dayton, Tennessee, and an associate’s degree from the National College of Business in Rapid City, South Dakota. Before coming to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, she held various positions in administrative management including event coordinator for a major civic center, chief financial officer for a regional medical center, dean of an Episcopal Cathedral and account specialist for a bursar’s office.

Originally from Nebraska, Lorilynn is a Cornhuskers football fan through and through—though she has grown quite fond of Mocs football. She is a certified administrative professional (CAP) and an active member of her church. Her son recently graduated from UTC, majoring in electrical engineering.
