The Office of Human Resources seeks to contribute to the University community through the development and administration of effective human resources systems in the areas of employment compensation and benefits, employee relations, personnel record maintenance, and staff training and organizational development. If you have changed your address and/or phone number and have not notified the Office of Human Resources, please email Kathy Taylor and include your Personnel Number (located beneath your name on your payroll advice) and departmental mail code. Taking time to update your records will insure that any information mailed to your home by the State of Tennessee, including insurance, retirement, and other state benefit information, will be correctly routed.

A new Human Resources service, called "E-Recruiting", is being piloted at UTC as well as several other campuses within the UT system. The electronic recruiting system presents tremendous opportunities to streamline and increase the efficiency of our hiring and recruiting process, eventually eliminating paper completely from the hiring workflow for all staff positions. UTC will begin the pilot project December 4, 2006 for NONEXEMPT positions. All requisitions for NONEXEMPT positions after December 4, 2006 will be processed electronically.
