I am multidisciplinary scientist who studies how evolution has shaped the human mind and
interested in how human`s educability, which is qualitatively different from the learning capacity
of other species, is governed by specific neuropsychological and physiological mechanisms. In
particular, I am puzzled by how the presence of same and opposite sex individuals influence both
sexes neuroendocrinological response and how hormones and behavior, exerting a reciprocal
effect on one another, calibrate behaviors involved in learning. To elucidate these and other
phenomena, I conducted both experimental and correlational studies, and assess characteristics
such as hormone levels, potential mate preferences and cognitive abilities.
