• Hometown: Darlington, Wisconsin
  • Universities and Degrees: University of Wisconsin - Platteville: BS in Psychology and Agricultural Business, Working on my Masters in Mental Health Counseling at UTC
  • What are some things that make you unique: I enjoy giving back and helping others; volunteerism is a true passion of mine. I love Habitat for Humanity and spent 3 years on an Exec Board as secretary in Wisconsin and hope to continue here. I am also very crafty and love to create things, so you can probably find me journaling, coloring or painting when I have a spare second and if it is a Sunday night you can find me watching The Walking Dead.
  • What do you enjoy doing around Chattanooga: Walking around, exploring the city and campus. I love the Walnut Street Bridge and Collidge Park!
  • What is your advice to incoming freshmen: Get out of your shell. That looks different for everyone. Join a new club, go on that trip, study abroad, focus on school. This is your opportunity to discover yourself and reinvent you. Try new things, have fun, make memories and be awesome!
  • What is your advice to outgoing upperclassmen: Enjoy your time it will be gone in a flash. That being said plan, plan, plan! Take the GRE and apply for jobs and grad schools early. Don't fret too much about not having a job right as you graduate, you will be right where you need to be, trust the process. Also do not let the first no be the final no. Ask about what you could have done better, if there is an appeal process, or if there are other opportunities in another department. You got this!
