The mission of UTC's Office of Audit and Compliance is to provide the campus and system administration with objective, independent reviews of accounting, financial, and other operational controls in departments and units. These reviews help assure the administration that university assets are adequately protected, the entities are operating efficiently and effectively, and the university is in compliance with federal, state, and UT policies and regulations.
Employees and students are encouraged to report known or suspected dishonest acts by employees, outside contractors, or vendors. Fraudulent activities should be reported as follows:
- To your supervisor or department head
- To a UTC official
