Equal Employment Opportunity Statements
University publications, employment opportunity announcements, and print advertising must include an equal opportunity and affirmative action statement from those listed below. The EEO version to be used is determined solely by the Office of University Relations during the publications numbering process and is recorded on the publications requisition form.
Standard EEO

L. 88-352; Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Pub. L. 92-318; and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Pub. L. 93-112; the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Pub. L. 101-336, and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, Pub. L. 90-202, respectively. This policy extends to both employment by and admission to the University. Inquiries concerning Title IX, Section 504, the Americans With Disabilities Act, or the Age Discrimination in Employment Act should be directed to the Office of the Director for Affirmative Action, 104 Founders Hall, (423) 425-4124. Charges of violation of the above policy should also be directed to the Office of the Director for Affirmative Action.
