Instructional Opportunities

Do you need some extra help or just a reminder on how to do the basic steps required to manage a maintain a university site? Well, you're in the right place. We have various forms of assistance that can help you learn more about how to manage your content.

OU Campus Training

We have moved our training online, so you no longer have to wait for training classes! You can do it at your leisure.

Please also provide your supervisor's name & email on the form so we can get access approved for you while you are completing training. Once we have received the results of your training, and approval from your supervisor, we will create your account on the UTC website so you can edit!

Open Lab Time and Web Workshops

During Open Labs, several members of the Web Services team will be on hand to assist with basic and advanced editing techniques, answer questions, and provide information.

Lab times will begin with 20-30 minutes of Workshop time, during which a member of the team will explain and demonstrate web techniques using OU Campus (www.utc.edu) or WordPress (blog.utc.edu). The remainder of the Lab will feature hands-on, personal assistance from expert editors.

No prior registration is required. Feel free to drop in at any time during any of the labs. Even if you do not require assistance, Open Labs provide time and space to get away from your office to concentrate on web editing, or to meet and work with fellow web editors.

While not required, we suggest participants should complete Web Training 101 prior to attending workshops. Editors must attend Web Training 101 to receive login credentials for OU Campus.
