2009 GROTE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR INCOMING FRESHMEN: Applications for the Grote Chemistry Scholarships for incoming freshmen are now available. Click on the "Scholarships" link to read more about the scholarship and obtain an application. Applications must be postmarked by March 1, 2009.
CHEMISTRY MAJOR ELECTED 2008 HOMECOMING QUEEN: Rielly Lewis, a BS Chemistry: Biochemistry major, was elected 2008 Homecoming Queen. This summer, Rielly worked as an intern at TBI and served as an Orientation leader. She is also active in her sorority Sigma Kappa. Congratulations Rielly! (09/20/2008)

The primary goal for the Department of Chemistry is to uphold a commitment to excellence in undergraduate education. We offer BA and BS degrees in Chemistry including a BS degree with a Biochemistry concentration. All of our degrees have a premedical/predental option. The BS Chemistry degree is certified by the American Chemical Society.
