Video Meeting using Zoom
Zoom is a new online meeting platform that can be used to conduct video meetings with online or distance students, hold online synchronous class sessions, or conduct staff meetings when members aren't able to be there in person. Zoom is a platform that is supported by the University of Tennessee system. Faculty and staff are encouraged to use Zoom in lieu of programs like Collaborate, WebEx, and Adobe Connect. Zoom works on Windows and Mac computers, as well as iOS and Android systems, and supports up to 50 students at a time. You can even join a meeting from a standard telephone.
Zoom accounts are available to any faculty or staff member in the UT system. Students do not need an account to participate in a Zoom meeting.
