What do I do if I have COVID-19 symptoms, have tested positive for COVID-19, or am concerned I may have been exposed to COVID-19?

Please fill out the COVID-19 Notification Form as soon as possible. Information provided on this form will be utilized to contact the person who is the subject of the report and provide appropriate guidance.

Where can I get tested?

Testing for COVID-19 is available through UHS. The nasal swab specimen collected is sent to the commercial lab Pathgroup. Please call UHS at 423-425-2266 for more information or to schedule an appointment.

Additional free testing is available through the Hamilton County Health Department.

Who can get tested for COVID-19 at UHS?

COVID-19 testing is available for active UTC students as well as current UTC employees.

Is there a cost to COVID-19 testing at UHS?

Labs are billed through patients’ insurance at Pathgroup. If a patient does not have insurance, there is no cost for testing at this time.

Employees who have symptoms may have additional costs for a provider visit or additional services utilized.
