Kim Davis worked professionally in NYC as a costume shop manager for Colbath, LTD and as a draper/seamstress for several costume houses including Radio City Music Hall, The Muppets, New York Shakespeare Festival and New York City Opera to name a few. This work included theatre, movies and television with such talents as John Malkovich, Madonna, and Christopher Reeves. ‘Cats’, ‘Pirates of Penzance’, ‘The Music Man’, ‘Making Mr. Right’, ‘Desperately Seeking Susan’ and ‘Phantom of the Opera’ are a few of the productions. She’s been designing shows in Chattanooga for community theatres since moving here 4 years ago from Knoxville where she designed musicals for Farragut High for seven years. She graduated from VCU with a BFA in costume design/tech theatre. She is also a certified Tai Chi teacher.
