The summer UR/PD institute is a free, online learning and preparation experience, which focuses on research exploration and skills, professional development, and networking. Institute participants attend virtual seminars, network with current undergraduate researchers, learn how to create a CV (academic resume), and build an e-portfolio. Participants will also learn how to identify research opportunities on campus, how to network with prospective faculty mentors, and how to apply for graduate school, medical school, and summer REU programs around the United States. Students who successfully complete the summer institute receive a certificate of completion, and are entered for a chance to win a Chromebook!
