What Parents Need To Know

Global education is becoming more critical than ever to a student’s education, a component which is strongly emphasized and supported here at UTC. We strongly encourage you as parents to be involved in the process along with your student from the beginning, to understand the role of global education and study abroad in your student’s academic career, and to be aware of the resources available to you as a parent. This site will provide you with a wealth of information specifically for parents to navigate the process of study abroad with their student.

In addition to the resources provided below, the Center for Global Education's staff are always available to respond to any inquiries you may have – by phone, email, or in person. Please refer to the Staff Profiles link for contact information.

There are many education abroad organizations that provide online resources for parents, and many of these organizations are UTC partner organizations.
