Global education is becoming more critical than ever to a student’s education.
We strongly encourage you as parents to be involved in the process from the beginning. You will understand the role of global education and study abroad in your student’s academic career, and you will be be aware of the resources available to you as a parent.
In addition to the resources provided below, the Center for Global Education's staff are always available to respond to any inquiries you may have—by phone, email or in person.

There are plenty of education abroad organizations that provide online resources for parents, many are UTC partner organizations.
AIFS is recognized as a leading provider of study abroad programs. Since 1964, over 1.5 million students have traveled abroad with AIFS.

Since 1987, International Studies Abroad (ISA) has provided college students in the United States and Canada the opportunity to explore the world. ISA's mission is to provide high-quality education abroad opportunities to U.S. and Canadian university students at an affordable price.

ISEP was founded in 1979 at Georgetown University and became an independent non-profit organization in 1997; they are now one of the largest study abroad membership networks in the world. ISEP is committed to helping students overcome the financial and academic barriers to study abroad.

Since 1980, SFS has offered programs that are based in locations and ecosystems grappling with critical environmental issues such as climate change. Students on [these] programs examine firsthand the environmental issue sfaced by [the] host communities, gaining important research skills, making lifelong friends, and contributing to a growing body of international environmental research.

SIT has been providing immersive, field-based study abroad programs for undergraduates for more than 50 years. SIT programs immerse students deeply in their host country. [Their] programs are based on the experiential learning model. Programs combine classroom study with hands-on work in the field.
