Emelia Dunston has been at UTC since 2016 and serves as an Associate Dean of Students. In this role, she provides leadership and oversight for the Office of Student and Family Engagement. This office includes the following programs and units: Homecoming, Welcome Week, Registered Student Organizations, Student Media, Campus Programming, and Fraternity & Sorority Life. Prior to joining UTC, Emelia worked at the University of Kentucky as the Assistant Director for Programming in the Office of Student Involvement and at Bellarmine University as the Director of Student Activities for Campus Programming. Emelia earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Meredith College in 2009 and a Master of Education degree focused on College Student Affairs Administration from the University of Georgia. Currently, she is working on her Doctorate in Education with a focus on Higher Education Leadership and Policy through the Peabody College at Vanderbilt University.
