What does a peer educator do?
The job of a peer educator is to assist the Step Up! staff in implementing the program through campus outreach opportunities such as presentations and events. The duties of a peer educator will vary based on the activities planned per semester. You're expected to commit to 2-3 presentations during the semester that you are a volunteer, which amounts to less than 10 hours a semester. Scheduling is flexible. You will also be assigned to a Student Worker who will guide you through the process and assist you with presentations and scheduling.
