Riders Virtual Robotics Competition
Coming Fall 2024, the College of Engineering and computer Science is partnering with Riders Robotics to host a virtual robotics competition. There are three tiers of competition: Middle School, High School, and High School Seniors (for a UTC Scholarship Award). A final event will be at the UTC Campus on February 8, 2025, with awards, tours, and workshops for the winners. Below you will find information for registration and timelines for the coming events.

Riders Platform Technical Specifications and Requirements
- No software installation is required for the competition, a computer with an internet connection is enough to access the Riders.ai platform.
- The competition platform will be accessible via www.riders.ai.
- Technical support during the competition will be provided via the Riders Discord channel.
- Robot coding interface (IDE) and all robot-related auxiliary tools-libraries are provided to the participants on the Riders.ai platform.
Computer System Requirements
System Requirements
- Operating System: Windows 7 and above, OS X 10.9 Mavericks and above, Chrome OS (Chromebooks), Ubuntu 16 and above.
- Browser: Latest version of Chrome (64 bit).
- Internet Connectivity: High-speed/broadband connection (15 Mbps) is recommended, with wired connections preferred to reduce loading times.
- Firewall Settings: Ensure the following area is whitelisted: https://riders.ai/about
Awards Ceremony and Campus Visit
The awards ceremony for this year's event will be held on February 8, 2025.

• Winners from each category (Middle School, High School, High School Seniors) are invited to the UTC Campus.
Activities
• Activities include an awards ceremony, campus tours, a swag package, and a robotics workshop provided by Dr. Erdemir and Dr. Kaplanoglu.
