Poster/Art Displays Presentations

This format option includes the traditional academic poster.  

***Presenters who would like to display  works such as painting, photography, journalistic photography, or similar should choose the poster option to accommodate their displays.  

Artistic presentations ( painting, photography, drawings, journalistic photography, etc.) will be displayed on foam core boards in the same rooms as poster presentations. Artist tape/mounting puddy will be provided  for display. Heavy paintings will be displayed on easels. 

Poster Format Details  

• Conference presenters are solely responsible for CREATING, PRINTING, and PURCHASING THEIR OWN POSTERS.  The conference provides the poster boards, easels and clips for display. 

• Prior to conference day, poster/artistic presentation presenters will receive an e-mail message, which will include the time and session during which the presentation will be delivered, and check-in details.

•  If the research was conducted under a protocol that was approved by the Institutional Review Board (for projects involving human subjects/participants) or Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (for projects involving vertebrate animals), make sure to note the IRB or IACUC protocol number on the poster. 

Poster and Arts Display Specifications  

Poster Displays- Due to space limitations, poster presentations must be not exceed 3 feet (36 inches) height x 4 feet (48 inches) width.  

Please use this TEMPLATE OR make sure to size the poster accordingly during the design process. If you do NOT know how to size the poster file, contact the conference coordinators immediately( [email protected] ) .  

NOTE:  The conference display boards are 3 feet tall and 4 feet wide. Posters printed larger than these dimensions will NOT fit on the provided display boards. If you have questions/issues about the poster specs, please contact the conference coordinators [email protected]  

ART Displays - The conference display boards are 3 feet tall and 4 feet wide. If you are displaying drawings, photographs or similar items please make sure the display fits within these dimensions. If you are displaying a single painting (or other 2-D work), please make sure it is mounted to be displayed on an easel (see photograph below for context).
