Oral Presentations

This format option includes the traditional academic talk accompanied by slides.  Presenters who would like to share an art video project, journalistic video project, or similar presentation should choose the oral presentation option.  

Oral Presentation Format Details  

Due to time and space constraints, oral presentations will run no more than 15 minutes in length including questions. Design a 10-12 minute talk to allow ample time for questions. 

• Prior to conference day, oral presentation presenters will receive an e-mail message, which will include the time and session during which the oral presentation will be delivered, and check-in details.
• Oral presenters will load slide decks  (and/or other visual components) onto computers in the assigned presentation rooms after check-in.  Presentations should be stored in multiple formats including on a jump drive, cloud storage, and/or e-mail to ensure accessibility.
