Advanced Modeling & Simulation
The AMS thrust focuses on the multiscale modeling of materials and living systems using Molecular Dynamics Simulations, Fluid-Structure Interaction Simulations and Field Theoretic Simulations. We focus on impactful applications among which Materials Research and Biopolymers using novel methods that bridge disciplines.
For example, we use rigorous tools from Topology to study polymer viscoelasticity.
