Dr. Amye Warren and Dr. Amanda Clark received a ThinkAchieve grant award in the amount of $2,930 for their proposal entitled “Enhancing Critical Thinking in Upper-Year Psychology Students.” These funds will be used to determine whether upper-level undergraduate students improve in their critical thinking as a function of taking PSY 4120: Advanced Seminar in Psychological Processes. To do this, students in the Fall will be assessed using the Critical Thinking Assessment Test (CAT). These funds will also be used to create and validate a Psychology-specific analog version of the CAT which will be administered to PSY 4120 students in the Spring 2015 term.
