Fall Family Weekend - September 20 & 21, 2019
Join us September 20 & 21 for a weekend of fun, food and tradition. Fall Family Weekend is an ideal time for families to visit their student on campus, explore Chattanooga, and enjoy a weekend of great events that showcase what UTC has to offer. Plus, you'll get a chance to catch our Mocs Football team in action as they take on James Madison University.

Friday, September 20
Kick off your Fall Family Weekend experience at our Welcome Reception. Unleash your inner kid and explore all the wonders offered at the Creative Discovery Museum. Get excited for the weekend as you socialize with other families and University administrators. Food and refreshments provided.
A number of interactive activities and demonstrations will be available for you to enjoy including the Framed: Step into Art exhibit AND the Great Balls of Fire Science Show.
NOTE: A limited amount of free parking is available for attendees behind the museum. Additional parking is available at the AMC 12 Theatre and the CARTA North Parking Garage (115 W. 3rd Street) for a fee. The cost usually ranges between $5 and $15 depending on the lot.

Saturday, September 21
Get ready for the big game with the Parent & Family Association at our annual tailgate in the First Tennessee Pavilion. Sticky Fingers Catering will provide food and refreshments.
NOTE: Parking around the Pavilion is an additional cost and usually ranges between $5 and $15 depending on the lot (cash only).
Location: First Tennessee Pavilion - 1826 Carter Street
Join us in the stands as we cheer on our Mocs to victory against James Madison University (JMU). Your student can use their UTC ID to swipe into the game free of charge and sit in the same section reserved for our group.
Location: Finley Stadium - 1826 Carter Street
To be a part of this memorable weekend, registration is required. Parents, guardians and other family members of current UTC students are welcome to attend. Current UTC students can attend the events at no cost this year, but registration is required. Families must provide their student’s information when registering if the student plans to join us at any point during the weekend.

**REMINDER: Make sure to indicate if your student will attend on your registration form BUT do not include them in your final count on the payment page.**
Registration closes on Wednesday, September 4 at 5:00pm EST. No registrations accepted after this date or on site at the events.
In order to receive a full refund for any event/program sponsored by the UTC Parent & Family Association, a written refund request must be submitted via email to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than two weeks prior to the start of the program. No requests will be accepted in person or via telephone. Refund requests should include the following information:
- Participant’s Name
- Event/Program Name
- Event/Program Date
- Reason for no longer attending
- Amount to be refunded
- Name of payee being reimbursed (if different from Participant)
- UTC ID (if participant is a student)
Approved refunds are processed within 7-10 business days of approval. Requests made after the two week deadline will not be accepted due to ordering of food, supplies, etc. If a participant fails to attend their registered event, no refund is given.

Do young children need a ticket to attend the football game?
Children aged two (2) or older must have a ticket to attend the football, per UTC Athletics policy.
What is the dress code?
The dress code is casual for all events during the weekend.
What forms of payment are accepted?
We currently accept any credit or debit card with a MasterCard, Visa, or American Express logo. No cash or check payments are accepted.
What is the bag policy at Finley Stadium?
Only one clear plastic bag no larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches or a one-gallon, clear, resealable plastic storage bag per person. Fans can have a small clutch purse not to exceed 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches. Click HERE to view examples.
No other bags allowed inside Finley Stadium. All items, including clear bags and clutch purses, are subject to search at the gates. No items can be left or stored at the gates.
What other items can we bring in the stadium?
Fans can bring the following items inside athletic venues, provided they meet the size requirement:
- Cushions or seats without arms or pockets
- Small bags with medically necessary items, subject to search
- Diapers and non-medically necessary items for babies and young children should be in a clear bag. An infant/child must accompany a diaper bag
- Small cameras, cell phones and binoculars
Where can we park at the stadium?
All lots on the Finley Stadium / First Tennessee Pavilion campus are private and pay-only. No free parking is available anytime. Attendants accept cash only, and do not have the ability to process a credit card in queue. Click HERE for more details.
