Professor Connie Uffalussy received her MSN from Walden University in 2013 and her BSN from University of Tennessee at Chattanooga School of Nursing in 2009. She most recently has worked as a Nursing Director for two Medical /Surgical  units at Erlanger Health Systems. Professor Uffalussy has experience in adult coronary intensive care, recovery room, progressive care, cardiac stress testing, and cardiology in an office setting. She served in the United States Army Reserves in the Army Nurse Corps obtaining the rank of Captain. Professor Uffalussy teaches undergraduate Med/Surg didactic and clinical rotation at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She has obtained the certification of Critical Care Registered Nurse and Stroke Certified Registered Nurse as well as Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. She maintains memberships in American Nurses Association, Tennessee Nurses Association, American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, American Association of Neuroscience Nurses, and Sigma Theta Tau International.
