Professor Tessa Mullinax Baker received her Masters of Science in Nursing at the University of West Georgia 2010. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree at Kennesaw State University in 2007. Professor Mullinax Baker has experience in medical-surgical nursing with a focus on heart failure management. Professor Mullinax Baker is a certified Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL). Her nursing passion includes implementing evidence based practice at the bedside. While working as a CNL she focused on implementing evidence based protocols related to patient safety. Her current area of focus in scholarship is frequency of physical assessment techniques used by registered nurses. Professor Mullinax Baker is currently a clinical instructor for level 2 and level 5 students in the undergraduate program . She is currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Tennessee and Georgia.
