Laurel Rhyne received her BSN from Oakland University in 1990 and her MEd from Wayne State University in 1997. In 2005, she completed her MSN-ACNP from University of Alabama-Birmingham. She has worked primarily in Critical Care, Thoracic Surgery and Thoracic Oncology as an ACNP and as a program developer and designer. She has been involved in multiple research and quality improvement studies presenting both at CHEST and at the Tennessee Hospital Association. Currently, she is working with Erlanger Hospital supporting the Medical Admissions Unit in addition to her role as Lecturer with the School of Nursing.
