Amy M. Levi is currently enrolled in the PhD in Nursing Science program at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis and will be defending Spring of 2018. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, she worked in cardiac services and emergency medicine. Her research interests include big data, health care disparities and policy, and caregiver burden for those caring for adults patients. She coordinated three international experiences for the School of Nursing in which BSN students provided care in Guatemala, Costa Rico and Haiti. Working with students in orphanages and mobile clinics was extremely satisfying for her and she has plans to continue this work.
