Young Mocs CIT Program

CIT Participant Requirements

All CITs are required to meet the following criteria to be eligible for the Young Mocs CIT program:

  • Have attended Mocs Adventure Camp as a Camper in previous summers
  • Have a genuine interest in working with school-age children 
  • Is mature, responsible, and safety-focused
  • Understand that CITs are only allowed to work with K-5th graders and that CITs will not be interacting with Middle Mocs campers.
  • Is able to attend Young Mocs CIT Training (10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.)
    • Saturday, May 18th 
  • Is able to attend Camp Counselor Training dates (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.):
    • Thursday, May 23rd
    • Friday, May 24th
  • Is able to attend all Camp Counselor Planning Session dates (12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.):
    • Tuesday, May 28th
    • Wednesday, May 29th 
    • Thursday, May 30th
    • Friday, May 31st
  • Can commit to attending any four weeks of Mocs Adventure camp. This commitment includes attending eight hours per day, five days per week, for four weeks of the CIT's choice.

Young Mocs CIT Program Costs

The cost of the Young Mocs CIT program includes attending Camp Counselor Training Week, Camp Counselor Planning Week, and four weeks of your choice of camp. This also includes the cost of all field trips and CIT T-shirts.

Please note that scholarship aid is not offered for this program. 

Student/Member Program Cost:  $300.00

General Public Program Cost:  $400.00

Registration Information

The Young Mocs CIT program is currently only available by invitation only for previous campers. If your child attended Mocs Adventure Camp in the past, and you would like them to be considered, please email the Camp Leadership Team at [email protected] or call (423) 425-4213 (Option # 8).
