We understand that there are so many questions that may be running through your mind as you take this next step toward becoming a new UTC Moc. Let's get started here and hopefully, some of your questions will be answered right now.

Yes, we are hosting orientation virtually. Once registered, students will receive their Mocs Box in the mail and it will be packed with information about your scheduled orientation session. Orientation will include video modules, virtual chats and more. Register here.

New Student Orientation for Fall 2021 is $75 for both transfer and freshmen students. There is no cost for parents, guests or family members.

Fall 2021 Freshmen: June 7th/8th, June 14th/15th, June 17th/18th, June 24th/24th, July 12th/13th, July 19th/20th, JUly 26th/27th.

Fall 2021 Transfer: April 27th, June 10th, June 29th, July 15th, July 29th/30th

We are currently not hosting any on-campus tours. However, we have a brand new online guided tour that you can watch from the comfort of your home. Watch now.

When you register for orientation, you will complete an Academic Information Questionnaire that will provide our advisors with the necessary information to create a schedule for you. Then, during your scheduled orientation session, you will meet virtually with your advisor to review your class schedule.

MyMocsNet is the student portal for personalized information related to your enrollment and progress at UTC. You will find information about classes, financial aid, scholarships, fees, majors, advisement and more in MyMocsNet. Log in here. You can also log in by clicking on TOOLS at the top right corner of the UTC website.

Parking permits for campus lots are now virtual. Simply, visit Parking Services and register up to three vehicles on your account. Please have your tag number for each vehicle for registration.

You will receive updates and information about many critical bits of information to help you get started at UTC via your UTC email address. Your UTC email is your UTCID(abc123) Contact the Help Desk if you need help accessing your email.

To update your address, please login to your MyMocsNet account, select Self Servce Banner and make updates under Personal Information.

Yes. Orientation is required for for all transfer and freshmen students  that start UTC in a fall or spring term.

You can always check the Money tab in your MyMocsNet account. You can also contact our MocsOneCenter. You will also receive notification in the mail.

You will receive your Mocs Box at least a week before your scheduled orientation session.

We will observe social distancing for any lines and plan to reduce the density of seating options in an effort to encourage social distancing. Dining options will remain available for the semester. We also encourage students who live on campus to utilize the kitchens available to them in their residence hall.

The FERPA form can now be completed online and without being notarized. You can complete that form on the Records website (once on this page, scroll to the very bottom). Also be sure to read information about FERPA so you understand the freedoms and restrictions related to privacy.

You'll need to log in to your Hope Scholarship account and change your institution to UTC. Follow the instructions we've outlined on the Financial Aid website.

All residence halls have detailed information pages online about the rooms along with photos, diagrams and amenities. Visit this page and select the residence hall you'll be living in for the Fall.

Visit the Housing and Residence Life homepage and click on the "Manage My Housing" button at the top of the page.

Yes, you are allowed to bring a vehicle with you to UTC. You will need to purchase a parking permit for you vehicle in order to park on campus. Students also have free access (with their UTCID) to CARTA, Chattanooga's public bus transit.
