CPT Stuart Allgood was commissioned as a 19A Armor Officer in 2014 from the University of Arkansas. He has served in the 1st Armor Division at Fort Bliss, then the 1st Cavalry division at Fort Cavazos. He has deployed in support of Operation Freedom Sentinel and a 9-month rotation to Eastern Europe. He is married to Bentley Allgood, they have a daughter and a son.
SFC David Jeffries has been serving as a 31B Military police officer for 16 years. He is a native of Cross City, Florida. SFC Jeffries joined the Mocs Battalion in 2022. He has served in the 82nd Airborne Division, 10th Mountain Infantry Division, and 8th Army Staff. He is married to Barbara Jean Jeffries for the past 16 years and they have four children.
Mr. Zach Hatcher was Commissioned as an Armor Officer in 2019 from Ole Miss. He attended Armor Basic Officer Leadership Course shortly after and joined the ROTC program in 2020 while also serving as his Company executive officer in 1st Squadron, 98th Cavalry Regiment in the 155th ABCT. Mr. Hatcher will be leaving us this semester on a year-long deployment, we wish him safe travels and already look forward to his return.
Mr. Kent Maddox Command Sergeant Major US Army Retired is currently the University of Tennessee Army ROTC Enrollment and Scholarship Officer. Mr. Maddox was born in Memphis, Tn. He enlisted in the United States Army completing basic training and advance individual training at Fort Bliss, Texas. He has held numerous leadership positions at a variety of duty stations over his tenure on the Army. CSM Maddox is married to the lovely Kelli Maddox and has two children: Paige and Brock.
Mr. Brian Drake enlisted in the Army in 1986 as a 42A; he retired in 2007 and joined the Mocs BN in 2013 as our Human Resources Assistant. He is married to his wife of 39 years, Darthy Drake, and is the father to 2 sons and 1 daughter.
SSG Jacqueline Hogan joined the National Guard 10 years ago and has served as a 79T Recruiter for 9 years. She is a Tennessee native and a graduate of Lincoln Memorial University. She began instructing for the ROTC program at UTC in October 2021.
Mrs. Jordan Harris, a Connecticut native, serves as the ROTC Administrative Assistant. She and her husband, Matt, have 1 child. Prior to relocating to Chattanooga, they spent 7.5 years as an Army family stationed in Fort Drum, NY and Grafenwöhr, Germany.
