Andrew Ledoan earned his doctor of philosophy degree from University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign in May 2007 and worked as a post-doctoral faculty and visiting assistant
professor at University of Rochester from July 2007 to June 2010. Andrew came to The
University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in August 2011 from Boston College, where he
had been on faculty for a little over a year. His area of research is in number theory,
especially *L*-functions, prime numbers and Farey fractions. He is also hard at work in probability
theory and multivariate statistical analysis, most especially random arrays.
