Erin Ryan

Biography
Erin joined UTC in October 2021. She received her MSLS, with a concentration in archives and records management, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After graduation, she worked as a processing archivist for four years at The University of Alabama Libraries in Tuscaloosa.
Erin's research interests include religion, art, and publishing, particularly self-publishing, and how these intersect with each other and with the world of archives. Before she began her archives career, Erin worked as a writer and editor, largely in the field of religious journalism. She also holds a B.A. in English Literature from the University of North Carolina at Asheville and an M.A. in Theology from Saint John’s School of Theology in Collegeville, Minnesota.
