Portal & Mobile App Project
UTC's current portal (MyMocsNet) and mobile app (Ellucian GO) is reaching its product end-of-life and needs to be replaced. Phase one of the project will focus on resources for enrolled students, but content for additional groups (faculty, employees, alumni, etc) is a planned part of the project. We started with demonstrations from industry-leading portal and mobile app vendors. We invited a diverse representation of individuals from around campus to these demonstrations to share their feedback. This feedback helped with a decision on moving forward with a portal and mobile app solution. We will now work closely with the vendor to begin implementation. We expect a Summer 2023 initial release. As with all major software systems on campus, we will then enter a new phase of product improvement, feature enhancements and maintenance.
