Log in to SharePoint

Special Note

Some of SharePoint's functionality depends on ActiveX, which is only supported in Internet Explorer (32-bit). If you're using a web browser that is not Internet Explorer and you run into problems, try using Internet Explorer in compatibility mode instead. For more information about SharePoint browser support, select your version of SharePoint: SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 2010, SharePoint 2007.

You must have been given permission to access at least one SharePoint site before you will be able to log in to SharePoint


  1. Open your preferred web browser to:
    • If prompted for UTC credentials
      1. Under the ‘User Name’ field, enter your UTC ID with the domain specified (ex: UTC\abc123)
      2. Under the ‘Password’ field, enter your UTC password
      3. Check the ‘Remember my credentials’ box
      4. Select ‘OK’
  2. Under the ‘Site URL’ column, find and select the SharePoint site you wish to access


“Critical Error…” When Using Internet Explorer 11

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Select the Tools icon
  3. Select ‘Compatibility View Settings’
  4. Under the ‘Add this website’ field, enter ‘’
  5. Select ‘Add’
  6. Select ‘Close’
