How do I submit training for my record?

IRIS is the official record of training for university employees. Employees will notify their supervisor that they intend to submit an external training for credit through K@TE (pronounced "Kate"), the University of Tennessee’s new learning management system.

Log into K@TE  by clicking on the link above, click on Learning (upper left side), from the drop-down select View My Transcript. On the right side of page, click Options and select Add External Training. Enter the information requested and attach a confirmation of attendance: conference registration, certificate of completion, course agenda, or other acceptable documentation. Once you click Submit, you will be taken back to your transcript screen. Click the Mark Complete button to mark your training as complete. The Mark Complete' button should now say View Training Details. The status should now say Pending Completion Approval. This means you have successfully submitted your training for view by the administrator. External Training Credit request are reviewed in the order in which they are received.
