Honors College Students

Our students are an integral part of life at UTC and an asset to the Chattanooga community as a whole.

Most Honors students are involved in many extracurricular activities, often taking a leadership role. Many organize and participate in numerous service projects with local non-profit organizations.

Honors students are much in demand on campus as tutors, peer mentors, resident assistants in campus housing and student assistants in academic and administrative offices. Because UTC has a limited number of graduate programs, our outstanding undergraduate students have many opportunities to assist faculty with research and other academic and professional projects, such as preparation of textbook manuscripts, presentations at conferences and editing of articles and textbooks. As a result, many of our students have produced research and creative projects that have been accepted for publication in professional academic journals.

Check out the sample student profiles below, to see how our students demonstrate a high level of initiative, creativity and energy in their activities both inside and outside the classroom. Through the connections and opportunities of the Brock Scholars Program, they're able to make the most of their undergraduate years, academically and personally.

Here are just a few of our amazing students.
