The 2010 UHON Cultural and Fine Arts Tour took as its theme a study of the art and culture of Germany. Twenty-five intrepid Honors students, along with assorted UHON faculty, staff and alumni toured various sites in Munich, Wolfsburg and Berlin. Below are some highlights of our itinerary:

Group visits to: The Residenz, The Deutsche Museum, Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein

  • Science and Technology in post-WWII Munich

Berlin (May 13-16)

Group visits: Einstein Observatory in Potsdam; Berlin City tour including the Brandenburg Gate, the Room of Silence, the Berliner Dom, the Memorial to the Murdered Jews, and a boat tour on the Spree River; and Schloss Charlottenburg
