Procedure for Scheduling the Comprehensive Assessment Defense
The participant will submit the link to the Digital Portfolio to the instructor(s) for LEAD 7450 Reflective Practice and Competency Development and/or instructor(s) for LEAD 7995 Comprehensive Assessment Continuance to assess its state of readiness. This review process typically results in one or more rounds of revisions. Therefore, participants are encouraged to allow sufficient time for review and feedback and to adhere to any submission deadlines outlined in the syllabus agenda.
Once the LEAD 7450/7995 primary instructor has assessed and determined that the participant is ready to present and defend the Comprehensive Assessment, s/he will communicate with the participant and Faculty Review Team regarding availability for the proposed defense dates/times (allotting 90 minutes for the defense). The LEAD 7450/7995 primary instructor will provide the Faculty Review Team members the Digital Portfolio link a minimum of 14 days prior to the day of the Comprehensive Assessment defense. The three members of the Faculty Review Team will include the Program Director, the Program Advisor, and one additional faculty member.
The LEAD 7450/7995 primary instructor will provide the LEAD Program Office ([email protected]) with the confirmed date/time of the Comprehensive Assessment defense, the link to the Digital Portfolio, and the name of the designated third member of the Faculty Review Team.
The LEAD Program Office will reserve the facility and distribute appointment invites to all attendees (participant and Faculty Review Team).
