Tourist Profiles
Tourists at the RiverRocks Festival in Chattanooga, TN were randomly surveyed about a number of questions regarding their preference of physical activity, effect of various initiatives on their likelihood to visit Chattanooga more often, and their spending habits while visiting Chattanooga. From this information, a general profile was created highlighting characteristics of individuals who reported participating in a certain activity (e.g. runners, mountain bikers, climbers). Individuals could report as many activities as was applicable, so it is possible for one person to contribute to the profile of various activities.
