PAWS Program Research
Data from the 2011 US Census Bureau reveals the lack of postsecondary education among those that are over the age of 25. Only 35% of individuals over the age of 25 have a degree!
Due to the data that shows the need of postsecondary awareness at an earlier age, the PAWS program is committed to continuous research to support the need and effectiveness of postsecondary awareness through mentoring.
Methods Include:
- Pre/Post Assessments
- Mentor Surveys
- Parent Surveys
- Student Interviews
- Teacher Interviews
With expectancy, research will show:
- Increased Self-Esteem, Motivation, Determination
- Increased High School Graduates
- Increased Postsecondary Program Enrollment and Completion
- Increased Overall Success
