Sean Stewart is new to the Chattanooga area. He has just finished his first year as the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga's Department of Performing Arts Fine Arts Center Manager and Technical Director for the Roland W. Hayes Concert Hall. Sean has designed sets and lights for numerous productions including Macbeth, The Hostage, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Dreamgirls, Something's Afoot, and Once upon a Mattress to name a few. Prior to coming to Chattanooa Sean was a stay at home dad and raised his two children for 8 years. And before that he was the Technical Director at the Embassy Theater in Fort Wayne, Indiana and was also the TD at IPFW University.
In his spare time, (what's that?) he enjoys getting on stage and performing. Some of his favorite roles have been Orsino in Twelfth Night, Marc Antony in Julius Caesar, John Proctor in The Crucible, and Phillip in The Lion in Winter. His favorite role of all time though was Hamlet. He also likes long walks on the beach and reading tales of knights in shining armor rescuing damsels' in distress; who by the way are very capable of rescuing themselves. He is also an avid Seahawks fan. Go Hawks!
Stewart is a soon to be member of I.A.T.S.E. local 140. He is also an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America.
