Monday, September 12, 2016
Granfalloon, 400 East Main Street
Soundcorps, the Chattanooga Songwriters Association, and the UTC Fine Arts Center’s inSIGHT Conversation Series present two of songwriting’s heavy hitters in a conversation about their work, their methods, working with Rosanne Cash, and how songwriters can improve their craft.
Alt-Country songwriting/performing legend Roger Alan Wade and Nashville-based Tom Paden, who between them have written with Rosanne Cash and for Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, George Jones, Willie Nelson, Hank Williams, Jr., Kenny Rogers, Cleve Francis, Lee Greenwood, Aaron Neville & Tammy Wynette, as well as a number of big screen and TV shows, will lead the roundtable discussion of the craft of songwriting for conversation participants.
What is expected to be a far-ranging conversation on contemporary songwriting, perhaps with a few examples of work, is the first of two events leading up to Rosanne Cash's performacne at the UTC Fine Arts Center on Friday, September 16, 2016.
The conversation will take place at 6 pm on Monday, September 12 at Granfalloon, 400 East Main Street.
