UTC Police meets its mission by offering the following information and programs for our campus community.
Active Shooter
An “active shooter” is a person or persons who appear to be actively killing or attempting to kill people in a single location. These situations are dynamic in nature and require immediate action by law enforcement personnel to stop the shooter.
Crime Prevention Programs
Student of Employee groups may invite police officers to speak on various crime- and safety-related issues. Crime prevention programs are available on campus crime, sexual assault, alcohol and drug awareness, scam awareness, self-defense, walking safety, and bicycle security.
