Forum 2014

The Southeastern Composers League will gather on the campus of UTC on February 20 -22 for its annual Forum, dedicated primarily to performances of original music composed by members of SCL. This year, the Forum will be held in conjunction with the Marian Anderson String Quartet Residency at UTC.

Additionally, UTC will be well represented by its Orchestra, directed by maestro Jooyong Ahn; the UTC Chamber Singers, Dr. Kevin Ford, director; Dr. Kenyon Wilson, tuba; Prof. Don Zimmer, violin; and the UTC Saxophone Ensemble, Clint Schmitt, coach.

Thursday, Feb. 20, 7:30 p.m., Roland Hayes Concert Hall: The Southern Adventist University Orchestra, Laurie Redmer Minner, director.

Friday, Feb. 21, Roland Hayes Concert Hall:

- 10:00 a.m., "From Paris, with Love"

- 1:00 p.m., "Forge" 

- 3:00 p.m., "With a Little Help from My Friends;" Nikolasa Tejero in concert.

- 7:30 p.m., the Marian Anderson String Quartet in concert. $5.00 general admission; UTC students with valid ID admitted free.
