Chattanooga is located in the southeastern corner of Tennessee, a roughly two hour drive from the major cities of Knoxville and Nashville, and five hours from Memphis. If you are traveling by car, Chattanooga is easily accessed by interstate highways I-24 and I-75. A map below shows available interstate routes. Upon arrival at the university, complimentary parking will be available in UTC's 5th Street Garage for conference attendees.
If you are planning on traveling by air, the Chattanooga Airport offers non-stop flights around the state.
In the spirit of sustainability in Chattanooga, the airport utilizes solar energy to help power their facilities. Their three-phase plan began in 2011, and between the first two phases almost 85% of all airport energy needs are met. Once the third phase has been completed, the Chattanooga Airport will be energy self-sufficient and carbon neutral. You can view an interactive graph of their energy output here.
