Emily Quinn, M.Ed.
Intersectionality

Emily Quinn is a two-time UTC graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in History and Women’s Studies (2012) and a Master’s degree in Special Education (2015). Emily teaches a university course for first year college students with Autism Spectrum Disorders. She co-authored a four volume published textbook series, The BASICS College Curriculum, with Michelle Rigler and Amy Rutherford.

Intersectionality

This session will be a presentation that explores the concept and theory of and examples of intersectionality. The session will culminate in an activity that explores how our different identities may intersect and interact to impact our experiences.
