Training and Educational Opportunities

The Office of Equity and Diversity seeks to provide the campus with training in an array of areas. Training is provided for students, faculty, and staff alike. Inclusion is a primary focus in OED. Compliance training is designed to educate employees on laws, regulations, and company policies that apply to their day to day job responsibilities. Diversity training is used to increase cultural awareness, knowledge, and skills by increasing the inclusion of different identity groups, and by promoting better teamwork. Below are some of the training programs provided by our office:

We are also very proud to present the Diversity Advocacy Certificate (DAC) program, which is a comprehensive training program where participants select from a wide variety of topics and sessions, and receive a certificate and designation of UTC diversity advocate upon completion.
