Our ESL program is offered three times a year (Spring, Summer and Fall term). Our schedule is Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (one hour for lunch). Classes meet for 20 hours each week and are taught by a group of highly qualified instructors.
Six levels of English proficiency are available (starter, elementary, pre-intermediate,
intermediate, upper-intermediate and advanced level). All students will complete an
online placement test before the classes begin.
The online test has two sections: Use of English and Listening. On the first day of class ESL instructors will conduct an oral placement test to confirm the student’s level.
Classes are offered in many areas: reading, writing, listening, speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, TOEFL preparation, public speaking or American culture. Our ESL Program focuses on English for Academic Purposes (e.g. note-taking, summarizing, understanding lectures, making presentations, writing essays) as well as Social English.
Certificate of Achievement:
At the end of each session, students are given a detailed grade transcript and a certificate verifying that they have attended classes and completed assignments for that session only.
